Independent study tool. The app and this website are made by Right Stack Ltd and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the UK Government, the Home Office or GOV.UK. They are not the Life in the UK test and cannot be used to book it. Official information and booking: gov.uk/life-in-the-uk-test.

1. Who we are

The app and website are provided by Right Stack Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, based in London (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@rightstack.co.uk.

2. Using the app and website

By downloading the app or using this website you agree to these terms. If you download the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if you download it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. If those terms conflict with these, the store's terms apply to the licence for the app itself.

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app and website for your own study. You must not copy, resell or republish the questions, explanations or translations, or try to extract them in bulk.

3. Study content

• Practice questions and explanations are written by us to help you study. They are not official test questions, and we cannot guarantee that they reflect the questions in the real test.
• Handbook content is based on “Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents – 3rd Edition” (© Crown copyright), reproduced under the Open Parliament Licence for study purposes.
• Translations are provided to help you understand the material. They may contain mistakes; the official handbook and the test are in English.
• Information about the test, citizenship and settlement can change. Always check GOV.UK before you book or apply. Nothing in the app or on this website is legal or immigration advice.

We work hard to keep the content accurate, but we cannot promise that using the app means you will pass the test.

4. Premium

Premium is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. It removes adverts and unlocks translated questions, explanations and handbook pages. Payment, refunds and restoring purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Translations are downloaded when you first use them, so they need an internet connection.

5. Adverts

The free version of the app shows adverts. How advert data is used is described in our privacy policy.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, change or stop parts of the app or website, for example to correct content or follow changes to the test. We will try to keep Premium features available for as long as we offer the app.

7. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for losses caused by events outside our control, or for decisions you make about booking the test or immigration applications. The app and website are for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in the courts of your country.
